ImageAll benefactors and friends of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart are invited to join us in our Pilgrimage of Thanksgiving at Knock Shrine on Saturday, 25 July - the highlight of our celebrations to mark the centenary of the arrival of MSCs in Ireland.

We will pray for and give thanks to the many supporters – past and present – who made possible our ministry outreach to southern Africa, New Guinea, Indonesia, Venezuela, Russia, England and the southern States of the USA down through the years.

Fr Michael O'Connell MSC (Director, Mission Support centre) and other MSCs will meet as many donors as possible in St. John’s Care Centre (near the Basilica) from 10.30am – 1.30pm, and in the Basilica immediately after Mass.

To mark the occasion, each pilgrim will be given a copy of Heart to Heart – our new prayer booklet – as they enter the Basilica for Mass.

We hope you and some friends will be able to celebrate with us at Knock on 25 July. We will remember those unable to travel due to age, health or other reasons.

P.S. Anyone organising a bus from their area should notify Fr. Michael O’Connell MSC at the Mission Support Centre as soon as possible.
