Pope John Paul II
Our inaugural pilgrimage to the Shrines of Poland took place from 12 - 19 June and was led by a number of MSCs including Bishop Hugh Slattery, Fr. Michael O' Connell, and Fr. Frank Gallagher.

The religious programme included visits to several well known shrines including Jasna Gora Monastery - Poland's national shrine to Our Lady, Lagiewnike where Our Lord appeared to St. Faustina in 1931, the Wieliczka salt mine with its Blessed King chapel made entirely of salt, and the Basilica of Wadowice - birthplace of Pope John Paul II in whose footsteps the pilgrims followed.
