Sacred Heart Novena
ImageOur Annual Novena to the Sacred Heart commenced on 22 May and concluded on 30 May which was the Feast of the Sacred Heart. A Novena is a very special time of reflection. It is time of intense personal prayer and petition. During a Novena we not only pray for our own needs, and the needs of those close to us, we also pray in communion with all those others who are making the novena. We join with those who are far away in many different parts of this country and abroad. We remember in a special way all those enrolled in both the Golden Book and Blue Book.

Each day special attention was given in the Sacred Heart Church in Cork, and in our Retreat Centres at Grace Dieu in Waterford and Myross Wood in west Cork to the thousands of petitions that were sent in to the Mission Support Centre in Cork by people throughout Ireland and Great Britain.
