Provincial Conference Concludes
ImageThe Irish MSC Provincial Conference 2008 concluded at lunch time on Saturday 5th April.  After a full week of prayer, reflection, sharing, debate and planning the members of the Conference agreed the final statement to be issued to the Province outlining the plans for the coming three years.

There was a great sense of joy and satisfaction at the concluding Eucharist, led by the Irish Provincial, Fr. Pat Courtney, and the Superior General, Fr. Mark McDonald.  Delegates from each part of the Province were returning to their respective area with concrete plans for the years ahead.

The members of the Conference recognised both the challenges and the very real opportunities facing the Province at this moment in time as we seek to continue to share the good news of the love of God revealed in the Heart of Christ.

The experience of being together for a week strengthened in each delegate, lay or MSC, a real sense of community and belonging to this international Chevalier family.  It was indeed a grace-filled time.
